Countertops and reception desks for this hotel in our home city of Birmingham, United Kingdom. For this refurb the client opted for a new material language with a focus on natural surfaces and welcoming warmth.
Mitre joined edges create the impression of a solid slab, a practical option for projects that don't want to show the plywood substrate.
Incorporating our materials into concierge and guest tables helped tie the spaces together into a unified visual language.
In the hotel bar Bianco London Plane was used to make shelving, continuing the welcoming feeling throughout the public spaces.
