We use industrial processes to improve, decarbonise, and revolutionise our built environment.
Our materials are where conscience meets design.

Material First
Although we are rooted in historic materials and craft processes, we look to the future of industry and architecture.
By exploring existing manufacturing with new materials we can come together to create something new.

Always Improving
There is rarely a clear cut right answer for sustainability in manufacturing so our philosophy is to choose the least harmful option.
We work together with our partners to realise a better vision of the future; where industrial processes are inspired by nature, led by design, and driven by technology.

Circular Futures
Change for a more sustainable future starts with industry. By combining industrial by-products and waste streams into modern manufacturing we can decarbonise industrial processes, together.
All of our materials can be returned to us for re-use and recycling into new products, creating a closed loop.
Surfaces that are ready for real life.
Our practical products are designed to create improvements over the current status-quo. There is no perfect solution so we look to make lower carbon products more accessible for a wide range of projects.
Transparency
Making things sustainably is hard, we want to have honest conversations.
Energy
All of our factories are powered by renewables, both on-site and through our suppliers.
Low Carbon Industrial is what happens when manufacturers, thinkers, and designers align.

Built through partnership
Since our founding in 2016 as FORESSO we have worked to find like-minded people to change the future of industry.
In our collaborations with partner companies and our own staff, we believe in doing things differently. Together, we’re proving that beauty, performance, and environmental intelligence can come as standard.

Expressive by Nature
Our design language is rooted in a sense of place and precedent. Every tone is chosen to work in different light and architectural contexts. Inspired by enduring materials such as terracotta and plaster, and the calm in natural variation.

Living Wage Certified & 4 Day Week
We've been certified by the Living Wage Foundation since 2020 and we are one of the only manufacturers in the UK to operate a 4 day week as standard.
Since 2016 we've been on a mission to find remarkable uses for reclaimed materials.

2016
Our founders begin developing FORESSO, our timber terrazzo.

2018
We set up production in Birmingham, United Kingdom, to manufacture FORESSO.

2021
We begin looking for partners to develop new materials using existing manufacturing capacity.

2025
We launch LCI and our new low carbon solid surface - Elenite.
