Day-to-Day Cleaning

Use standard household cleaners with a soft cloth or sponge for everyday care.

Re-Oiling

To keep your Foresso surfaces looking their best, re-oil them after installation and at least once a year.

To remove damage or marks, use a fine sanding block and sand by hand for a smooth finish.

Always wear suitable PPE when working with our materials, such as but not limited to: Respiratory protection, hearing protection, manual handling gloves, safety boots.

Cutting

For cutting and machining, we recommend PCD (diamond) tools.

Watch our video to learn how to cut our materials with a circular saw.

Sanding

After cutting, sand and oil your surface as you would any wood project.

Use an orbital sander, working up to P320 grit, then finish with your preferred hardwax oil.

Drilling

Drill into Foresso from the front or back using a sharp drill bit.

Filling

For heavy damage, use a 2-part filler.

Always wear PPE and work in a well-ventilated area.

Gluing

Standard wood glues work well with Foresso and No-Chip.

Use them for tasks like mitre joints, just as you would with other wood materials.
