Jury's Inn Hotel
Countertops and reception desks for this hotel in our home city of Birmingham, United Kingdom. For this refurb the client opted for a new material language with a focus on natural surfaces and welcoming warmth. Mitre joined edges create the impression of a solid slab, a practical option for projects that don't want to show the plywood substrate. Incorporating our materials into concierge and guest tables helped tie the spaces together into a unified visual language. In the hotel bar Bianco London Plane was used to make shelving, continuing the welcoming feeling throughout the public spaces.

In this busy family home we supplied both Azure and Sage No-Chip for counters, joinery, and cupboard fronts. This was paired with a textural oak veneered plywood to bring warmth and depth to the entire space. By pairing our No-Chip surfaces with clean white walls and accent woodwork the client created a pratical but design led home full of details to be enjoyed everyday.
Learn moreDESG Co-Working
At this co-working space in Cardiff our Ivory Cedar & Walnut Foresso was used extensively for desks and decorative joinery elements. The design focussed on bringing natural elements and welcoming tones into the space to make it a productive but comfortable place to work. In private working booths our tables are combined with Oak faced acoustic panelling and mustard colour upholstery. It's become increasingly important for modern workspaces to embrace natural materials for the benefit of staff, as well as to showcase your organisation's values.

In the tight confines of a traditional kitchen recess within this Victorian flat the client looked to maximise functionality without losing sight of a mid-century aesthetic. Pairing Pewter No-Chip with cherry cabinetry and bespoke hardware kept the material language thoughtful without overwhelming the space. Material choice in small spaces encourages the use of gentle texture and materials that have continued interest when viewed closely. Our gentle products such as No-Chip and Elenite, are uniquely suited to a use such as this.
Learn moreCarhartt WIP
Carharrt WIP store in Antwerp used a variety of our products to create bespoke display units, storage, and a feature cash desk. Our timber terrazzo is used to soften the industrial aesthetic and create eye-catching displays to guide the customer experience. Matching Foresso with veneered plywood creates a varied but consistent visual language throughout the store.
Learn moreHakuba Hotel
At this ski resort hotel in Hakuba, Japan, our materials were used in both reception areas, rooms, and self-catering chalets. Creating a cosy environment full of wood tones our timber terrazzo fits both with modern design sensibilities and the needs of winter guests. Small pieces were used as accents throughout the hotel, such as on signage, corner cushions, and other elements, helping to tie together the overall aesthetic of the resort. In the reception area Ivory Oak was paired with other warm and inviting materials to create an expansive reception desk and guest lobby. By incorporating our warm tones with soft materials the space is given a feeling of a welcoming refuge, perfect for cold winter days.
Learn moreThe Furniture Practice
In their new Manchester office The Furniture Practice opted for a Bianco London Plane table and tea station. The overall design is very clean and modern but the inclusion of our timber terrazzo brings a bit of character and warmth into the space and compliments that industrial columns of the historic building. Today's workspace design needs to be functional but still welcoming. Hybrid working means that the nature of staff collaboration is changing and increased need for large tables makes our surfaces an ideal choice for feature areas.
Learn moreBahr Residence
This unique project for 212box's ambitious Bahr Residence in Texas, USA, incorporated Walnut planks into the Charcoal Walnut flooring. Each plank was cut and inlaid by hand to produce this unique floor. With the penthouse flooded with light every fine detail of the timber is highlighted and sits in harmony with a staggering array of handmade furniture, objects, and artwork. In the master bedroom the inlaid plank tiles were used to deliniate living and seating areas while the bed and its bespoke rug took a quieter approach on standard Charcoal Walnut tiles.
