| Installation notes | Sheets ship with factory edges that carry production marks and writing; these are trimmed back when sheets are cut to final size. Surfaces must be sealed with oil or lacquer once cutting and installation work is complete - this protects the surface and develops the colour depth. As a handmade material, expect natural variation in flatness across the length and width of each sheet, and occasional small indentations or pinholes. |
